In addition to these services, Broaddus offers a skilled nursing/long-term care center. Adaland Mansion:
Adaland Mansion, Philippi WV
Adaland Mansion is a historic brick home in Philippi, West Virginia. It is set against the rolling hills of Barbour County and was built in 1870. The 23-room, Greek Revival mansion house has been restored with great attention to authenticity and features homemade brick and walnut woodwork throughout. The former home of the Modisett family is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The barn was built approximately 1850. It has also been restored and is open to the public during the tour season.
