The Barbour County Development Authority (BCDA) works to recruit and develop businesses within the county.  We strive to meet the needs of the business community and continue to create more innovative ways to grow our local economy.

Cambell Buildings

In 2017, The BCDA purchased three buildings in downtown Philippi in order to provide small commercial spaces for rent to businesses and to help revitalize the downtown. The spaces currently houses three (3) businesses -Molly’s Hand Dipped Ice Cream, The Yarn Basket and Jamie Bolton Photography.
